A Great Opportunity to
- Learn By Doing
- Explore career options
- Discover your talents
This program was introduce to Malaysian secondary schools in 1989 by the American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce
to give us an opportunity to learn about business through hands-on experience.
The YE Program, also known as Program Pengusaha Muda Malaysia is similar to the U.K. program, which is more than 50 years old,
and to Junior Achievement in the United States, Malaysia is the first country in this region to adopt this program as an extra-
curricular activity for secondary school students.
Only 25 participants called "Achievers" , are selected from each school to form a mini-company.
Over a period of nine months, they will be able to learn how to run a company with the asistance from the Advisors
and from your sponsor company.
This program is designed to let the participants learn how to run a business and to learn proper business procedures.
It will also lead participants through the complete life-cycle of a company, from capitalization to voluntary liquidation.
Young Enterprise student companies often make profits. However, the success of the program is not judged solely by financial results,
but rather in developing teamwork and business skills as a foundation for future achievements.
